I woke up today, and decided that I must do something about my hair! I stretched an extra week from my last attempt, and things are getting pretty damn nappy.
My scalp is ultra sensitive and I am having a hard time keeping my hair styles in place... Obviously, it is time to get a relaxer done.
The question is: Should I do it myself or get it done professionally?
I will admit that I have never came across a hair salon that completely pleased me after they relaxed my hair. There was always something wrong! Either they over-processed, under-processed, over-lapped, pulled up or overheat my hair!
And paying 75$ to brutally harm my hair does not make me happy...
I keep asking myself, why the hell don't I relax my own hair? What am I afraid of? Oh, right... SEVERE breakage!
But I know tons of girls who did it! Please read : Loveya4Ever's Self-Relaxing story! (And check out her pics! This girl is a true inspiration!!) If LoveYa4Ever can self-relax her exceptionally long hair, then I can, too!
Plus, you know the saying: If you want something done right, then do it yourself!
I know I will take care of my hair better than anyone else! In fact, I would not rush my hair in hopes of squeezing that extra customer for some extra cash!
I am still researching on how I will get my technique down, and I am officially starting my pre-relaxer preparations!
