How to Apply Fake Eyelashes

I recently bought fake eyelashes, and let me tell you, it is not as easy as one would think!

I bought them, thinking all I had to do is apply glue and stick them on... Boy was I wrong!

At my best, the eyelashes were glued to the middle of my eyelids. I was so frustrated and discouraged, that I slammed the lashes inside my the drawer of my vanity desk; I was determined to forget about them!

Well, while I was on Total Beauty, I realize that they had a video on how to apply Fake Eyelashes. Before even bothering to post the video, I decided to try it out for myself.

I screwed up a few times, but on my third time I got it! HA! HA! I am so happy!

I am heading out to get liquid eyeliner!

Frederic Fekkai - Moisturizing Conditioner with Shea Butter

Soft, soft hair is only a conditioner away!

I know I mentioned how many times I love Frederic Fekkai, but Oh Man! did this product made my love even deeper!

As always, I went to Sephora ( I wish I could live there) and purchased this little miracle after using Frederic Fekkai - Protein RX Reparative Shampoo.

This is what it promised:
A rich, creamy conditioner ideal for ultra-dry, thick or unruly hair (virgin or color treated). This intensive, daily conditioner detangles and hydrates the hair with shea butter. Manageability is restored.

Conclusion:
I used this as an instant conditioner, before deep conditioning, and it makes my hair so soft! I love the smell of it, too! As a woman who chooses to relax her hair, I believe it really quenches my hair of dryness and it doesn't my hair oily or weighed-down.

The only negative thing that I say is that it's pricey!

Home Hair Remedies: Honey

We all know that sometimes you don't need to run to Wal-Mart, Beauty Supply Store, or any other store to obtain great results with you hair.

In fact, all you have to do is head to your kitchen or food pantry!

This week, we will have a closer look on how HONEY can help your hair out.

If you want extra shine and softness, try adding honey to your conditioner can help.

Try this simple recipe:

• Add 1 Tablespoon of Honey of your favorite conditioner (It does not have to be a deep conditoner)
• Let it penetrate in your strands for 20-45 minutes.
• Rinse out and you will get a silky soft hair!

If you want a deep hair treatment, that goes beyond the mentioned recipe, you can add EVOO to the process.

Here is another easy recipe:

• Mix 3 Tablespoon of Honey with 1 Tablespoon of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) in a small bowl
• On clean damp hair, apply mixture from root to ends
• You can either cover with a plastic cap and sit under a dryer for 20 minutes or you can cover your hair with a hot towel and go about your business for 30-45.
• Rinse off
• Style as usual
