I want to give a BIG thanks to  Gennz66, who made me realize that there's a Sally Beauty Supply Store in Nepean!

Really, I am still surprise there's one! It's one year old and I suggest all girls in the Ottawa region to get your booty's over there!

As some of you know, my Conair Hard Hat hair dryer was a complete waste of money and time. Luckily, I was able to return without any problems!

After reading K's comment, I grabbed my car keys and drove all the way to Nepean! There wasn't much choice, I think there was three brands to choose from.

I purchased Ion Conditioning Hard Hat Dryer for about 65$.

This dryer is top-notch good! The sound was reasonable, and my hair dries super fast under it! ( I will give a full review in another post!)

Anyway, while I was there I bought gray rollers, and it took a lot of will power not to splurge and buy a whole range of hair products. ( Yes ladies... I am a product junkie!)

If you are from the Ottawa region, go visit the store! I did not have much time to see everything, but I do intend on returning real soon!

Hey everyone!

Ok, so I am aware that I have not been adding much content ( well I could add more!) and the pictures or videos are not up!

Well, I have been very busy trying to find myself a place to live within 3 weeks! It's hectic, crazy and downright time consuming!

As for the media, I went to buy a webcam, and I really didn't like the resolution. The picture was choppy and sometimes grainy. I am off to buy another one as soon as possible!

Therefore, I want to apologize, but updating this site is a priority of mine, so stay tune and I promise to get my act together and add some news!

Hair Care Tip #09

Detangle your hair before washing it!

Common sense, no? Well, no! I used to not detangle my hair, thinking that it was either detangled or that the conditionner will do the job.

It is always a good idea to do so, since it will reduce ( or eliminate) tangles, which tends to break your hair.

Conair® Hard Hat Hair Dryer

As some of you already know, my bonnet hair dryer collapsed on me last week, and I needed a new one pronto.

I am being quite cheap these days, therefore I didn't want to spend more than I wanted to on a new hair dryer. Obviously, this was a BIG MISTAKE.

I did some online shopping and noticed that Conair had it's own version of a bonnet dryer. I was super psyched, and yay! only 70 cnd$!

Well, I purchased it, and I am now returning it!

This dryer is SOOOOOO LOUD! It is unbelievable! It was screeching in my ears!

I had to get ear plugs and set the damn thing on low just to bare the sound. I am aware that hair bonnets do make noise, but this sounded like a broken hand-held dryer. And I am suppose to sit under that racket for 90 minutes?? I think not!

This is the first time that I have a bad product from Conair, so I am kind of surprised that they miss the boat on this one. Also, the dryer was kind of flimsy, and I believe that it can be easily breakable. I know I was being extra careful.

My friend, well my boss, mention that he started walking on Wednesdays night. I asked him how he is coping and he told me that jogging with a bunch of people and chatting about current events, really makes it easy.

He even told me that he did 6 Km the other day! WOW!

So, I checked it out, and apparently you can try it for free! Awesome!

The program contain 6 different running levels, so anyone can join in on the fun!

Fitness Walking	If running isn't your thing or you want to try something new, check out our fitness walking Practice Sessions
Walk/Run	As the name states, this group runs and walks
Beginner	This group usually runs 10:1's at around 11 - 11:30 min/mile pace (6:50 - 7:10 min / km)
Beginner +	This group usually runs at around 10 - 11 min/mile pace (6:20 - 6:50 min / km)
Intermediate	This group usually runs at around 8:30 - 9:30 min/mile pace (5:20 - 5:55 min / km)
Advanced	This group usually runs at around 8 - 8:30 min mile pace (5 - 5:30 min / km)

If you live in the Ottawa region, I would definitely advise you to give it a try!
